How can I control my Facebook privacy?

How do I control what posts people see on my wall? Like, can I make my "_____is now friends with_______ and 3 other people" and "______just commented on________'s status/photo/wallpost" posts invisible?

Go to your wall, on the right side under "what's on your mind" . you know like the place you post your status. there should be a friends icon(you have to hover over it). Click on it and press custom.

while posting your post there is lock there that can make adjustments .
and also there are a lot of options in the profile or while are edittin you acc like email id or pass etc
