Are You guys aware that facebook recently changed the privacy settings, it doesn't look the same for everyone. I lost the ability to see the radio buttons and the old privacy settings. So I just accidentally made my wall visible to everyone. Anyways, I turned everything to only friends, but still can't hide my friends lists or my picture from the search and its annoying, Anyone HELP!!! All I see under privacy is

Profile Information

Contact Information

Applications and Websites

Search

Block List

nothing on wall posts and profile picture.

This is from facebook privacy help page:
"A basic set of information is publicly available, meaning it’s visible to anyone that’s able to navigate to your profile, applications you use on Facebook, and websites you connect with via Facebook. This information includes your name, profile picture, gender, current city, networks, friend list, and Pages."

In short with new privacy changes:
publicly available = name, profile picture, gender, current city, networks, friend list, and Pages

I encourage everyone to send an email to Facebook and demand to give the power back to user privacy control!

Facebook has conflicting information. Some of its help pages give the old instructions that don't work anymore. And, as is sort-of explained in one of the comments above, even if you hide your list from everyone on Facebook, it is still visible to anyone NOT logged into Facebook.

This is a major security issue. Read the story of Maziar Bahari, a reporter for NEWSWEEK who was detained and tortured by the Iranian government. One of the first things his torturer did was demand his Facebook password, so he could have access to his Friends list. Thanks to Facebook's privacy change, the torturer could simply have looked up Bahari's profile to see his Friends list.
