Or are all foreign affairs in the Middle East extremely complicated and messy, especially as they are trying to create a new country?

Obama supported the Arab Spring in Egypt. And thanks to his UNILATERAL action against Libya last year — when Obama never bothered to get Congressional approval for military action against Moammar Qaddafi’s regime — the outcome in that nation belongs entirely to Obama...can't Blame Bush for this one.

What's a "con"?

Shouldn't it be "Cons"?

It's not simple. But it is wise to have a backbone when you are dealing with a group that has been killing eachother sinca Isaac and Ishmael. They do not value life as we do and do not respond to diplomacy. Carter's adventures should show you that.

Obama's bungling in Egypt and Libya created instability in wide swaths of the Middle East -- including Egypt and Libya -- where the leaders were not threatening the U.S. and (in the case of Egypt) were collaborating in the War on Terror.

The Muslim Brotherhood has seized power in Egypt. Libyan heavy weapons and heat seeking missiles have found their way into the hands of Al Qaeda.

Obama's motive remains unclear -- but treason appears increasingly plausible

You are dealing with thousands of people who are being influenced by people with ambiguous agendas. That's especially true in Libya. They have a government that is friendly to the US but many armed factions which are not under the governments control, many of which have a history of being loyal to Al Qaeda.

I say we should do more to level tge problem. Think about this: CERTAINmiddle eastern arabs alredy hate us. Some guy decides to post an anti Muslim video un the us on YouTube. Now, even Arabs who didn't see the video have a moral reason to and are attacking Americans, embassies, and causing riots and yelling death to America. I'd day this is a pretty big one. But on no curcuma trances should they remove the video, freedom of speech
