How to Edit your Facebook timeline?

So i just got the Facebook timeline I never wanted it in the start but I clicked it by mistake, I hate it but I can't get the old one back now I don't want people seeing my things for 2009 etc it's embarrassing can I edit it so that it dosent show that stuff from way back then? Thanks in advance!

DON'T LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE THAT SAY THAT YOU CAN'T REMOVE IT.

If you use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, you CAN.
Check out this website - http://www.techtipsandtricks.tk - Click on 'Computer', and then click on the "remove timeline view from facebook" link, make sure that the browser name in the link corresponds with the browser you use the most.
