Does anyone know how to delete multiple facebook friends at once on the new Facebook?

I have a little over 1,440 friends on facebook, and I would now like to delete a load of them. Anyone have know how to delete them all at once?

you can't ...you have to delete them one by one by going to their page.

I don't think you can. But you can add those people to your restricted list until you find the time to get rid of them. That way they will only see information that you've made public. It's very easy to do. Go to privacy settings > manage blocking. At the top there will be a link where you can edit your restricted list. Select the group these people are in from the drop down box and click on the picture of each person you want on your restricted list. Then click "finish" and it's done.
