Gaining Confidence In talking to girls?
I see all of my friends with girls all over them, but I'm scared to talk to girls. At least on facebook. For instance, my friend in 9th grade talks girls from 7th grade through 11th grade. He has to talk to them from facebook. I'm terrified to talk to a girl on facebook, because I'm scared i'll get judged. Maybe it's because they're more "popular" than me (Im black btw with mostly black friends attracted to black and hispanic girls) I don't go to parties because I'm scared I won't get danced with as much as the other guys or danced with at all. If I join a conversation with my friends and they're talking to girls, I'm not scared, im very confident. But its something about me wanting to talk to girls on facebook to meet more easily. Im scared to start a twitter because I think I'll only have 5 followers and i'll be following 50 people. Basicly, how can I get rid of the fear of rejection and gain confidence in myself with talking to girls.
PS: please don't say "u just have to try" it doesn't help, I used to be ok talking to girls on facebook when my friend did it 4 me with 2 girls, I talked to a few but only a couple responded. Im average looking and not creepy looking. I dress well (all polo and aeropostale).

I'm in the same boat you're in dude. I hate having to be out-going. It is because of the fear of rejection, and thinking that you're not good enough. As long as you don't think about those things, you'll most likely be fine. I'm not going to give you the "you just have to try" crap because I'm personally tired of hearing that too. But last year, one of my friends told me that no SANE person will attack you for just trying to talk to them. All I'm saying is that you just have to think of the girls you confront, the same as your buddies that you hang out with. Who would really not like it if someone came up and introduced themselves to them?
