How do I get rid of Facebook Timeline ads and sponsored ads?

Recently I've started getting Facebook ads and sponsored ads all over my Facebook Timeline and I don't know how to get rid of them, I never had a problem of this before until a couple of days ago when I was messing around with some settings and I think my Adblock Plus I were messing with. I have Adblock Plus installed now but all the Facebook ads and sponsored links are still there. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm not asking to delete TIMELINE, I'm asking how to get rid of the ads and sponsored ads.. as shown in the picture.
I have MOZILLA FIREFOX and I have ADBLOCK PLUS.

In Firefox, do these steps.
1.) Tools
2.) Add-ons
3.) Click Extensions
4.) Click Adblock Plus and then click Options
5.) Click Filter preferences
6.) Click Add filter subscription
7.) Use the drop down menu and subscribe to Fanboy's list. That should block all your adds.
