Friends can not write on my Facebook Wall even though the privacy setting is set to friends!?
When my friends go to my wall, there is NO box there to write something in. I have checked and double checked my privacy settings and "Who can post on my wall?" is set to FRIENDS, so this is not the issue. I have heard a few others have had this problem, but have not found a solution. PLEASE help! My birthday is on Thursday and I would really like to have this solved by then so I can hear from my friends... thank you!

Facebook's numerous privacy and account settings can be overwhelming to new users who are unfamiliar with the policies and layout of the website. If you are concerned about your privacy, you can tweak how you share information and how others share information with you. One of the options you can enable or disable is the ability for your Facebook friends to post comments on your wall. Enabling this feature is not difficult and requires just a few mouse clicks.

Difficulty:Moderately EasyInstructions

1
Browse to Facebook.com and sign in to your account. Click on "Account" and then "Privacy Settings."

2
Click on "Customize Settings." Scroll down to the "Things Others Share" section.

3
Tick the box next to "Friends can post on my wall."

4
Click on "Back to Privacy" to save your settings. Your Facebook friends will now be able to post on your wall.
