NO you cannot. Once you activated it you have 7 days to review all your infos and check which ones you want to keep or hide from your profile. But that’s it.you cant remove it – everyone has to start using it this month, and the old format will go away forever

As for every facebook profile update, some people like it and some others don’t. But each time with Facebook it’s impossible to come back at the old profile.

Everything you will read on Internet is only temporary solutions that I don’t recommend (like deactivate your account for 30 minutes). Don’t do this as this is not supported officially and anyways in a few days the social network will put you back the new Timeline profile.

May be if many many people report that they hate the new Timeline, Zuckerberg’s team will do something and give us the choice. But for now unfortunately you have to deal with it.

So for now the best thing I could recommend is to upload a nice cover photo and enjoy with new timeline fetures

see some example of new timeline covers : if you want to put this type image on your facebook profile just go to http://www.coverimages.in

This Guide is for those who have got Facebook Timeline and want to change back to viewing the old style profile, or those whose profile hasnt changed over to Timeline yet, and just want to see your friends Timeline pages in the old style profile format.
Facebook Timeline can basically be disabled by setting your browser to tell Facebook that you are using Internet Explorer 7. Browsers send an identification code to websites to let them know what browser they are, this small chunk of text is called the "User-Agent". At present when a browser identifying itself as IE7 visits a Facebook Timeline page, it is shown the old style profile page for that user, instead of their new timeline style page.
This solution for disabling Timeline, will only last until Facebook fix the Timeline pages to work with IE7 (If they ever get around to it). By the Way this method only works for you when you are viewing Facebook with your browser set to pretend its IE7, anyone else viewing your profile page, if you have been updated to Timeline, will still see your Timeline page.

FIREFOX

Its easy to switch Firefox's User Agent to IE7, the steps are as follows
1.Install the "User Agent Switcher" Extension fromhttps://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-switcher/
2.Go to Firefox's "Tools/User Agent Switcher/Internet Explorer" menu and select "Internet Explorer 7"

3.Install the latest version of the F.B. Purity brower extension, as it will fix most of the display glitches that occur when you switch the browser's User Agent to IE7, and it also has a lot of other cool and useful features for customising Facebook.
4.Now go and view a Timeline page, it will be displayed in the old Profile format. BTW If you want to at any point switch the User Agent back to normal, just set the User Agent to "Default User Agent" or else just disable the "User Agent Switcher" extension.
