I think when you heard my answer you will be hurt, but I don't have another option till now.My answer is simply NO. you can't rollback to normal view to from timeline.
So think before activating timeline, When you want to activate your timeline you will prompt for take a tour. Timeline will replace your profile page and wall, only after you opt into it and either publish it or seven days after you enable it. You should not publish it immediately, then you will get seven days for rollback. This is the only solution. More on timeline visit source. |

There's no way to do that. Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement in any of its official pages about how the upgrade would be deployed, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size have never been optional.
Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are. |

Use Mozilla Firefox as your browser, and in the "Tools" menu, you will see something called "Default User Agent." Choose Internet Explorer 7 from the drop-down menu. This will trick Facebook into thinking you are using IE7, which is not compatible with the new timeline format, and it will default back to the old layout.
This probably won't work indefinitely, but it's working for now. |

If you hate Facebook TImeline and want it gone from your profile, there is a genuine method to get the old profile pages back. Facebook have deliberately omitted to make Timeline work with Internet Explorer 7. If you view Timeline pages with Internet Explorer 7 (or set your existing browser to pretend its IE7), you will see the old style profile pages instead. If you also want your friends to see your profile in the old style format too, you just need to point them to this solution too.
Theres a guide to setting up your browser to pretend its IE7 and thus disable Facebook Timeline here: http://fbpurity.com/disable-facebook-timeline.htm Please note that the FB Purity website and browser extension are safe, and have been reviewed and highly rated in The Washington Post, CNET, Lifehacker and PCWorld |
