Did facebook change privacy settings?

I used to be able to go to my facebook privacy settings and change who could see certain things on my profile (i.e, birthdate, about me, location). As of a week ago, the privacy settings only seem to link to some generic settings which just affect how people find me.
How can I change what people see on my profile?

i had that problem too, and i discovered it on my wall. go change your things on your wall and the settings will be on the right side.
