How on earth can someone have over 800 friends on Facebook?
I have a few friends who have over 800 friends on their Facebook. I don't think they actually know 800 plus people. I only have about 170 friends on my Facebook. I delete people every now and then if we never talk or they post annoying things. I would never want 800 friends on my Facebook because I would feel like I had no privacy or something.

I feel the exact same way. I don't understand the whole concept of adding random people/accepting random people.
I guess some people just want all sorts of attention. Ads |

Yeah the people with less friends are the ones who prefer to have privacy and only show their accounts to their real friends. I have over 800 friends (I'm in high school).. and you're right, it's filled with my real friends, family, and a bunch of acquaintances. I don't accept it from strangers though (: I suppose you can just collect those friends over time from meeting a lot of people. It's totally fine if you're not one of those people (like me) who just wants to have a lot of facebook friends

Your question is 'how?'. The answer is 'because they keep adding people'.
