Would this be creepy on facebook?

Should I add people on facebook that I don't know or would that be creepy? If those people ever wanted to meet up or something I would do it with a group of friends in a populated area and make sure other people that didn't come know were we are of course. I'am also not a young teenager I'am an older one. So again woud it be creepy to add people that I don't know?

I think most people wouldn't care and would just accept your friend request, but some might find it creepy.

As an adult you know it does sound creepy, but whoever you add can deny it. I would be afraid of the people that would be friends with total strangers and what is their agenda or what's lacking in the mental development.
