It's definitely not a big deal. I'm guessing you are younger? He probably just liked her picture, people like pictures on facebook all the time, and he might just a a "liker" anyway.

Take it easy. Guys usually say they like this an that girl. It seems you have a crush on him.
If he hangs out with you only and likes going out with you and etc...then he probly like you more.
Be patient and observe him don't get over excited.
