how do i make groups in facebook?

How do i make certain groups with my friends with facebook? So that if i post something that i want my "friends" to see but not my "family" and vise versa how do i do that?

In the left sidebar (right underneath your apps) is your list of groups. Hover over the word "Groups" and you should see "more" appear. Click on more and then, at the bottom of the Groups section, you should see create a group.

You can add who you don't want to be able to see your stuff to your restricted list. Go to "Settings" --> "Privacy" --> There you can set those restrictions.
