how do you find a long lost family member online for free?

ok..ive been searching for my real father for some time now and have gotten nowhere. i have never met the man so i just want to let him know that he has a son and he hates him! If anybody can please help me find him it would be greatly appreciated. Im tired of almost finding him and clicking the more info button to actually get somewhere in my serch and come to find out that you have to pay for the freaking information! plz help me

you could try facebook. that might work if he's on there.
but most (if not all) of the other sites for actually finding people require a payment. you could do the trail version on some of these, but that also includes a payment or completing an offer from other sites like netflicks or blockbusters, trials in the mail, and stuff like that.

i know how it must feel to hate the parent you never met..
