How can my friend convince her mom to let her get a facebook?

My friend wants a facebook, but her mom isn't sure of it. She told her mom she'd let her have her password so she could go on and check what she's doing, but her mom said she didn't have the time to do stuff like that.
so any suggestions on how to convince her mom to let her get a facebook?

My parents let my younger brothers get a facebook account after they offered to give them their passwords...but since your friend suggested that you have to try a different approach.

Have your friend think about why she wants a facebook (and "everyone has one" probably won't cut it!) then she should pick a time when her mom isn't busy and talk to her about the reasons. Also, your friend should ask her mom what she can do to prove she is responsible enough to prove she can behave herself online.

a nice slap might do it : ) jk but you dont have to tell your mom everything....i was like 11 when i got facebook and i didn't ask or even tell my mom....and she doesn't have my password and i dont have her as a friend ....i have her blocked actually
