My mom is messaging my boyfriend on facebook!? What should I do?
My mom has been sending my boyfriend MANY messages on facebook (will send 5 at a time) with information about colleges, financial aid, etc. I understand she is trying to be helpful but it is embarassing and way too much. Am I right to think this is not okay? What can I say to help her understand it really bothers me?!
Thank you! Ads |

Have him block her. She does not have to know you told him to.

no you're not wrong to tell her you don't like it. she should understand and stop. if not, then tell your boyfriend to block her. |

Omg that is so embarrassing! D: I would die if my mom did that. Tell your boyfriend to block her or delete her or just tell her straight up to butt out but that you appreciate her help. Good luck!

All he has to say is that he's got the info already
That's more diplomatic than blocking her After all one day she may be his mom in law and then??? |

Don't know you age nor you boyfriend's, but I have a feeling she is making sure your boyfriend gets a good education in order to take really good care of you.
I find her behavior unacceptable regardless of her reasons, you should tell your mom to stop communicating with your boyfriend and just to make sure tell your boyfriend to block her. By the way, how does your boyfriend feel about it?, that's kind of important. |

Talk to your Mom, explain that you appreciate her help but that you are his girlfriend and you 2 want to handle this college stuff together.. don't put her down, its nice that she is being helpful but sometimes parents need put in their place but hurting someones feelings won't help the situation, neither will keeping your mouth shut if it truly bothers you... Just say something to her..
