can an employer see my personal facebook message to another employee?
I sent the message on Facebook, but did not realize he had his facebook message notification to his employee email. If his employer (which is also my employer) does a search of his archived work account, will they be able to see my email to him? More importantly, would they have the right to use it against me? Don't I have an expectation of privacy if I send a personal message to someone's personal site?

You have no expectation of privacy either online or on your employer's email system. If the actual message appears in the email, he can view it.
Use it against you? Sure, see above. |
