It will mostly depend on what your screen resolution is as to how the image displays on your own computer.

If someone else is using a different screen resolution then the image will display slightly different for them.

Currently the most popular screen resolution is 1024 x 768 with 1280 x 1024 coming in 2nd.

Many people have different opinions on what the best size is to use.

I personally use 1600 X 1024 to accommodate the majority of users.

If you need a background I have a collection of Twitter backgrounds that include Sports, Abstract, Beaches, Sunsets, Pets and more. You can see them at http://www.twitterpatted.com

Hope this helps,
Brenda
