RT = re-Tweet, it means to tweet what someone else already tweeted.

RT is "ReTweet" as mentioned above. If you feel a Tweet is worth sharing, you can send it to all Post it as your tweet (so Your followers will see it) while still giving credit to the original source/user.

RT means to Retweet. Its an option you can do automatically by seeing a tweet an pressing the RT button/link, or type it out yourself. People do this to show it to there own followers. Sometime people type it out themselves becuase some people block people's RTs
An example of a written out RT: Wow! RT: @John: So exicted for Summer! I hate those damn teachers. the "wow" is your reaction to the RT, and it shows John Tweeted: "So exicted for Summer! I hate those damn teachers." Hoped that helped! |
