What does happen when u do unsubscribe somebody in ur face book?

I dont like to see post of some ppl in my facebook list.i noticed that i can unsubscribe them,just want to know if they would know.i dont want anybody get offeneded anyway.

They get the same notice as when you added them only it says you dropped them. Don't worry about it unless they are a real friend. I dropped my brother-in-law because he friend anyone and I don't want them linked to me.
