How do you ask someone you've never met to hang out?

Well, we have like 50 mutual friends on facebook and he talks to my best friend a lot. I've talked to him a few times online and he said if I ever wanted to talk to text him. How do I invite him & his twin brother out to a party this week?

By sending him a text saying, "want to go to a party this week?"

Text him saying "Party this weekend at *where ever it is*!" If your shy just put "FWD" In front of it so it looks like your not just sending it to him but to everyone.
