Because they are humans with a life, that does not stop just because they become a mother
Their partner is looking after the children, so what is the problem
No doubt the father also has his night's out too, with his mates

I must admit I couldn't afford to go out much when my sons were little,
so I just had friends over instead

Not only that but it's a complete waste of money.I've had some boozy nights in my early twenties but then I had kids.I'm in my thirties now and I'd rather save my money and keep my dignity. That's just me personally.

I turned 30 a few months ago. I have two beautiful little girls aged 2 and 6. I am a stay at home mum. My husband works full time. Every now and again I love to go out with my friends, socialise, have some adult conversation and a giggle. Enjoy a few drinks and maybe go for a dance. I'm still capable of getting up in the morning to mind my two girls like I do every other day. Sometimes I go out with my husband. Sometimes its just me and the girls and sometimes my husband goes out for a few drinks with his mates. Why on earth would it annoy you that I or my husband would leave the other at home to go out and enjoy a few hours with friends company. Just because Im 30 does not mean im past it. I stay at home maybe 355 days of the year and relax ( not with wine because I never drink at home). When you have children and you hit 30 you will have then grown up and realised your social life does not have to end to be a good mother. There are many many families living in misery due to a number of factors. You will find that the healthy family unit can be one that the parents are able to get out for a "break" every now and then. Its good for a marriage and also for someones sanity.

People.Nobody is saying that moms can't go out and have a good time, but getting smashed and being a dumba** should be a thing of the PAST.

OP, because..they are home all the time.

Moms can still go out and have fun with their friends. There is nothing wrong with letting Dad take care of the kids while you have some fun. Yeesh.

Maybe they don't want to stay at home and have a glass of wine. They're probably at home most of the week, so they like a change of scenery, and also to go and meet up with their mates and enjoy themselves.

And, if they have a partner at home, maybe they can't be bothered sitting in with a bunch of women who are drinking.

No, they shouldn't be past it just because they're in their 30s. I'm 37 and like to go out with my mates regularly. Do you think I shouldn't have a life just because of my age and because I'm a mum? Maybe you should get yourself more of a life, instead of judging others for what they choose to do with theirs.
