Why is my ex boyfriends girlfriend jealous of me?

I've been there. I dated this guy for about 6 years. We broke up because of his abusive behavior, plus other stuff.

Anyway, he is with this new girl and I'm happily married. I don't want to see my ex ever again. She is welcome to deal with him because I don't want to. His new girlfriend seems a bit immature and jealous of me, based on some comments she wrote on MySpace.

To answer your question...the new girl is jealous of you because she is insecure. When I met my husband, I was naturally curious about the relationships he had before. However, it didn't bother me. Only one of the women he dated was beautiful and she is a very sweet person too. Her name is Annette. She is now married with two children.

Your ex's new girlfriend probably feels like she can't compare with you somehow. Don't feel bad. If his family still likes you, that makes her feel more insecure. Some girls like it when their boyfriend or his family talks badly about his ex. It makes them feel better.

She has probably seen pictures of you...maybe you're prettier than she is. Maybe his family has a better relationship with you. Maybe it's just the simple fact that you're the ex-girlfriend? Sometimes that's all there is to it.
