Why do people keep deleting me on facebook?
I post a couple things a week MAX and have around 500 friends on facebook. My statuses aren't annoying, just when I'm with somebody or something. But I've noticed that people lately, not best friends. but acquaintances, have been deleting me. They haven't deleted anyone else. Like 10 people have deleted me in the past couple of weeks!

I wouldn't take it personally or make a big deal about it. Don't call attention to it because you'll just make a mountain out of a molehill. Find something else to focus on or occupy your attention, like a project or see a movie. Just don't obsess over it.

The same thing happens to me constantly. I add or get added by 4 or 5 people I week that I know, but then 4 or 5 people delete me. It does annoy me that they deleted me at first (Especially when they added me) but then I think "Hey well f@ck them then. They're the pathetic one's."

As long as it isn't any of your close friends then you'll be fine.

actually , 25 people deleted me .
well there are many reasons for this !!!

1- we don't talk with each other
2- i can't understand them and they don't understand me
3- they're from another country

Ever thought that people clean out friends that haven't had contact with for a very long time.

Everyone has a clean out every so often. It's called good housekeeping!

I mean come on, you say you have 500 friends. How many of those do you actually contact on a regular basis? How many do you know personally?

You scribble a couple of things on your wall per week and expect people to hang around?

500 people aren't friends, they are just no more than a status click. Before the internet nobody would even know that amount of people and that includes relatives.

Did you know that the average person would never know more than 150 in their whole life time and most of them are just acquaintances they have known over the years?

20 would be considered proper friends, 5 of them would be considered close friends and one or two of them intimate friends.

So stop being paranoid and get on with your own life. That''s more fulfilling than a bunch of anonymous people who you would never meet in your entire life!
