How do me and my birth mother keep contact?

They can stop you having contact until you are 18 by law, but I would suggest letting them know how upset you will be if they deprive you of meeting your other family and how much you will resent them for it.

If they continue to be off about it, tell another trusted adult and threaten to take your parents to court.

Stand up for yourself.

Well there are two choices really.

You could be upfront and honest with your parents and try to show them that you understand their concerns and talk to them about any concerns they may have for your safety or emotional health. You can be respectful and intelligent and responsible and try to come up with a solution that will satisfy you and your parents.

Or you can be snarky, malicious, irresponsible, and lack integrity and go and sneak around, lie to your parents, create false Facebook accounts or extra email accounts and be underhanded and immature by throwing tantrums.

I guess it all depends on what kind of human being you want to be. If you want your parents to trust you enough to have contact with your biological mother, you have to prove you are trustworthy and listening to individuals on here who don't give a crap about you and who just want to "stick it" to your parents and adoptive parents as a whole, is not the way to do it.

If you want the rights and privileges of adulthood, then you have to act like an adult and lying and cheating is not the way.
