Is it mean to delete someone you know from your facebook?

I know this girl irl, she is my one of my best friends girlfriend. We sometimes hang out but she NEVER responds to my Facebook posts, even when I post them on her page. When I have taken pics of her at get togethers, she makes sure to tell me NOT to put them on Facebook (she has pics of herself on her page). So, I decided to delete her from my Facebook. What good is it to have her as a friend for no reason. Did I do the right thing?

i wouldnt go as far as deleting her.
think about it, do you talk to EVERYONE on your friends list?
i have 363 friends, yet i only talk to some of them, i just wouldve stopped talking to her on facebook and distance myself from her in person because i obviously she doesnt want to be seen with youy i guess, id ignore her, overall.

Facebook is just a website. Delete who you want. It only takes a second.

No its not MEAN. What it is though is a decision you make. If you feel she should be deleted from "Your" facebook, then do it. This is an option of living in a "free" country - but I digress.

Its just facebook, i delete people everyday, because there annoying. if she doesnt respond to you, or anything on facebook then she obviously doesnt seem to care about you. just block her, she will never know that you deleted her, and if she does find out, tell her you just deactivated your facebook for a little bit... thats what i do and i get away like that! (:
