Should a person be anonymous on Facebook?

A friend of mine has her whole life on Facebook. Where she lives, where she works, where she was born, who she's married to, all her relatives, etc. Isn't that too much info. to put out there and couldn't someone easily steal your identity? I like the concept of Facebook, but I don't think it's a good place to share everything.

its a horrible idea to put your information on facebook. there are some crazy people out there (stalkers,rapists,robbers,killers,etc.) with all that information on facebook shed be a really good target. tell her to put her profile on private! and get rid of where she lives, where she works,and where she was born.

Are her informations public? If yes, you should seriously tell your friend to warn her.
''Where she lives, where she works, where she was born, who she's married to, all her relatives, etc.'' you say. She should seriously delete some personal informations like : where she lives, where she works and where she was born. Cause it's unsafe. But she can keep who's she married to and her relatives.

Cause somebody could steal her identity or even kidnap her. I'm serious.

In my facebook, I don't even show my year of birth and I don't even have a picture of me.
