How do I add pictures from my phone to Facebook?

I have an LG ENV 3. And can't really figure it out. Please don't laugh at me I'm fairly new to this. Can I do it without facebook sending notifications or junk to my phone?

To upload a photo:

1. Click "Photos" at the bottom of your home page, under "Bookmarks."
2.Click the "Upload Photos" link.
3.Click the "Choose File" button to select a photo from your phone. Enter a caption for the photo in the "Photo caption" text box.

4.Click the "Upload" button to upload the photo.
