Does anyone know if it costs money to text posts to Twitter?

I was reading Carrie Fisher's latest tweets, and it said they were "posted by txt." I know that people use things like "Twitterberry," which I'm sure u have to pay for. But if I have txting already on my phone will it cost extra to txt posts to my twitter account?

No it does not cost extra its free to send a text to twitter the only people you are paying to text is your cellphone provider

No, not as long as you already have text messaging in you wireless plan. I believe when you set up your phone with your Twitter account it warns that standard text messaging fees apply, which means if you don't have texting in your plan, it will charge you money.
If you have maybe 600 texts then it will use those and if you have unlimited, you can post unlimited Twitter messages from your phone.
