Should I add the sister of a girl I used to date on?

I was 'going out' supposedly with a girl in Grade 5 or 6, but obviously we broke up somewhere in that year. We haven't talked since then (now in Grade 12), and I just got a friend request from her sister on facebook. Is it weird to accept it?

I honestly do not think it is weird to add your ex's sister. Maybe she has something important to tell you. She is the one who decided to add you for her personal reasons. You can add her, communicate with her, and if the conversation is not going anywhere, you can delete her. Maybe your ex girlfriend is trying to get in touch with you through her... You never know until you find the answers to your questions.
