What does it mean if someone puts "le" in front of a word?
I've seen this on twitter and facebook lately and I'm really curious to know what it means.
Examples: le shower le new clothing le breakfast WHAT THE NUGGS DOES IT MMEAN? I'm so confuzzled. Ads |

i.e. is short for the Latin 'id est', meaning 'which is' or 'that is'. I think it's been adopted as a stylistic thing in the last few years. It's a shortcut so it saves some keystrokes, plus both its letters are on the home row. Besides, it's easy to spell. 8^)

It is "the" in French. People use it as a joke, like fake sophisticated talking.
