Don't know if you can stop this , or if you should. The truth is that many guys do cheat, and at your age, you cannot have known him for very long. If he gets lots of FB comments and texts, then he DOES have a lot of friends, and you SHOULD know about all of them, if you guys are supposed to be committed!

This may seem hard but you have to work on trusting him more and fight back that urge to know about every thing that goes on in his life, because sometimes you might find something that might be "suggestive" toward you but mean nothing to him at all. It will eventually get easier, and if it doesn't you can always talk to him about it.

You know it is obsessive and compulsive behaviour - that is part of the battle won. If you allow it to go on, it will surely become worse - you have to make yourself to get out of this habit. Each time tell yourself that you will ignore the next text and F/B messages to give him a rest and show him that you trust him. Next time you think that you will turn the other side for the next two messages he gets and so on.. like this I'm sure you will learn to ignore the messages he gets. Does he do this to messages you get? Remember all relationships are based on trust and if you let your suspicions grow they will become monsters to ruin your relationship however much you love the person.
