Facebook won't send me a confirmation email?

i am using hotmail and i don't receive anything
on FB i read "check spam folder" or something like it
but i don't even have that on hotmail
i do have a "junk" folder but it is empty

Check your facebook settings to make sure that it's ticked where it says 'recieve emails'.

First check your facebook notifications which sends you mail. Go Account setting & from left sidebar go notification setting & check all category that are they ok ? if not correct them .
after that if your problem don't solve then contract with your mail provider means hotmail.
