my facebook chat keeps saying that i have 0 friends online, how do i fix this?

for a few weeks now, my facebook chatbox keeps saying that I have 0 friends online, which is impossible coz i have tons of friends who practically live online. I've tried opening fb in other browsers as well as opening it in other laptops, i've also double...triple checked that i'm not in offline mode. is this a known bug? and how do i fix it?

Try refreshing your Internet browser while on facebook.

hmm..Do you group your friends? well i.e 'relatives', 'classmates' something like that..
Check if the color of "capsule" like on the upper right of each "groups" name is gray.

gray-means offline
green means online

on that particular "Group"
if you are offline just click the "capsule" to go online..

If that's not the problem, go to facebook help Goodluck
