Who did you let in the delivery room?

As I had a c-section, only my husband was allowed in with me. (or designated birthing partner)

If I had a natural birth...same thing, I only wanted my husband in with me. No need to a public viewing! I don't need my parents knowing all my business! lol..

Mother should decide. It's her body and modesty does play a huge role. If she is stressing about who is watching all her bits, it could hinder the labor progression. Sorry, Dad, you don't get to decide on this one. (hopefully, it will just be a c-section and then she doesn't even have to worry about it)

Tell her congrats!

My husband and I are both very family oriented so at first we were planning to have my mom and sister as well as his mom and sister in the delivery room with us. My dad and his dad were also in the room during the first part of labor and when it got time for the pushing part I could tell that my dad really wanted to see the birth of his first grandchild so I allowed both of our fathers to be in the room (as long as they stayed up at the head of the bed LOL). Then my best friend (who is as close to me as my sister is) got off of work early, so she got to be there too. So with my doctor, nurse, assistants and family....there were a total of 13 people in my delivery room and I wouldn't have changed a thing. I thought that it was amazing to be able to share that moment with all of the people that mean so much to me.
