I feel really embarassed because I only have 35 friends on Facebook?

You really don't need a lot of friends on any site, or in life. What you really need is quality friends. Spending all your time add people so that you can watch what random people are doing each day is really a waste of time.

Be strong and be happy that you have 35 quality friends. Many of us only have a few.

People that have that 250+ friends don't even know most of those people, and only add people to get their numbers up. My friends actually have said before they add anyone on facebook to get their numbers up and make them look more popular. I only have 50ish. Most of those are people from school I don't even talk to anymore.

People don't usually judge you by the amount of friends you have on Facebook.

No, she will think you are new to facebook probably, but what does it matter?
At least you have that many close friends! I have like 3 close friends that I talk to daily.
So you are lucky, & I wouldn't suggest adding random people, it makes you seem kind of desperate. Just be happy(:

It's really not a big deal - some people have a bunch of friends on facebook, some have a few. I have around 170 and they're all people I'm good friends with, I just happen to run in a lot of different circles. If someone I'm friends with had like 35 friends I wouldn't think they were a loner, I'd prob think they're new to facebook or don't use it that much

I have about 200 friends (less now bc I deleted the randoms that I didn't know) Most of my FB friends are ppl I went to school with, worked with, or go to church with. I also have added some local radio DJs and things like that to keep up with what's going on around town. I had added randoms bc i was playing Sorority Life and wanted more ppl in my house, but have the time they were talking about off the wall stuff and I hid them anyway.

I agree with the other person that said quality...not quantity.

Besides FB isn't high school...who cares if she thinks ur a loner? She added you, right? That's all that matters

hey better 35 good friends than 1,630...and this "friend" was actually a friend and didn't even friend me. but like who cares i only talk to some people of fb too
and yeah some people w/ like 700 firends i like wonder how many of them have they actually talked to or did they jsut add evryone in their high school network

don't be embarassed that you only have 35 friends! Most I know from my experience are from school, work, meeting people & YT! The friends that are close to you are your real friends so don't be embarassed that you have that many friends...it will grow if you meet people, work & school too! So best of luck to you!
