Is the following English message correct grammatically and polite?
Hello everybody,

I received a nice message from one of my colleagues at work regarding my first written manual. She said a nice feedback and comment about it. I want to reply to her message telling her about my appreciation to her message and nice words and the possibly of adding her in Facebook. I wrote the message but I am not sure about it because English is my second language.
So could you please help me in reviewing and modifying it (if required)?

MESSAGE:

Hello XXXXX

Thank you for your nice message, feedback and wishes. I really appreciate it. I really hope that the readers will find it useful and helpful.

By the way, sorry for this a bit late response as since we are not friends in Facebook, Facebook automatically filters that message to Others and I don't get a notification about it. Anyway, it is nice to see you here and if you don't mind we can be friends here in Facebook.

Thanks a lot again and wish you all the best.

Regards,
my name

You're mixing business with personal stuff and I don't think you should do that. You need to keep them separate.

My message would say this:

Hi Suzy,

Just a note to say thank you for your feedback and comment on my manual. I really appreciate it and I hope the readers will find it useful and helpful.

Regards,
John

It's not necessary or advisable to go into an explanation about how Facebook works or being or not being friends blah blah blah. Go on Facebook later outside of work and message her from there about being friends. You want a simple thank you without being overly wordy etc. You can be wordy outside of work.

My answer would be that as the response is overdue it is not a 'bit late response' it could be an overdue response or tardy response and as for the rest I totally agree with Mircat that you are mixing business with pleasure - hope that this helps (Teacher of English)

I have made some corrections to the note that you wrote to improve the clarity, the word choices, and the English usage.

Hello XXXXX

Thank you for your message. I appreciated the feedback and good wishes. I think the readers will find it helpful.

By the way, I regret the late response in Facebook. Facebook automatically filters that message to others and I don't get a notification about it. Anyway, it was nice to see you and I hope we can be friends on Facebook.

Thanks a lot again and I wish you all the best.

Regards,
