What are your views on same sex marriage, gay parenting, and gay bashing?

gay marriage- we live in a democracy. Democracies are supposed to give out equal rights. Instead of governing on religious morals.
gay parenting- proven to be no different than heterosexual parenting.

well, nice plug, but i think that this question deserves an actual answer.

i find the topic of this funny, not funny HA HA, but funny as in bizzare.
most people you talk to, atleast in my experience, will all say they have no problem with homosexuality
yet, more and more states revoke and ban gay marriage. i have often wondered why this is, and the only answer that strikes me the most is that it in less hypocracy, as it is an attitude of wanting to fit in.
no one want s to be the person who "hates gays", yet no one is willing to go against the grain and say, lets allow them.

i asked my mother, who voted yes on prop 8 in california to ban gay marriage. i asked her why she hates gays, she repiled," i don t hate gays, god does".
the hate they teach is not the hate they feel. no one wants to be "the racist", or the "homophobe", but they are just not willing to stop being led by the ones who dont mind.

during an interview with the lovely folks at westborrow baptist church, one woman said," i dont tell people to hate gay people, i tell people to hate homosexuality." love the sinner hate the sin.
that is their message.
they want to show love, but they are far too afraid of allowing sin in their country.

i cant help but feel that the hatred of homosexuality is actually only a thin fabric that covers their fear of themselves.

same sex marriage, that stems from their own insecurity and ignorance,
the gay parenting, that stems from their fear of a non married non congealing family.
the gay bashing, they hate is not really there, but peer presure is.
no one wants to be the homophobe, but they do want somone to be it.
some cave in faster.

that is why they say, they did it for the community.
"he grabbed my ass, who wants that in their neighborhood!".

nearly all of the homophobia that exists is actually just breaking a mirror so they dont see their own imperfections.

to those who hate gays.
why do you hate gays?
what is is about homosexuals that irks you, not god, you.
think about it please.
what ever you want to replace god with, fear of losing the value of marriage, fear of those damn liberals taking over, why do you fear gays?

we owe our life to GOD, so why would anyone want to disrespect him. that's not the proper way to say thank you.

two guys parenting a baby is just disgusting. don't be selfish. think of the baby, and all the suffering he/she will have. why would they even want a baby? the baby will grow up confused, and bullied.

Gay Parenting: FOR - if the couple in question are emotionally and financially capable of supporting and raising a child.
Gay Bashing: FOR in the sense that gay bashers should end up being bashed themselves in prison, to learn what it's like to be on the receiving end of a rape and/or brutal beating.
