You should be sending the grandmother the child support. (did you people NOT read that she is still in school?) Child support still required whether high school or college.

The order probably says that until she finishes school, you must pay. You can go to court and change the order so that you pay the grandma, but you're going to pay someone. When she graduates, you can go to court and end the order. Then you can stop paying.

Most Child support states that as long as the child lives at home and attends college you have to pay.
What you should do is notify your lawyer that you've been paying child support under false pretense, that is you pay your wife to take care of your kid, who's to say she's doing that since they don't reside under the same roof? Best case scenario you don't have to pay anymore, worst case you gotta pay grandma. |
