English and Swedish fluently.
Klingon with some difficulty. [Actually, I just submitted a Klingon translation of "The Emperor's New Clothes" to the KLI mailing list.] French with greater difficulty still. This year, I hope to gain conversational fluency in German. If you'd like to learn Klingon, I recommend getting "The Klingon Dictionary" by Marc Okrand. If you enjoy that book, you'll enjoy the sequel, "Klingon for the Galactic Traveler", also by Marc Okrand. I also recommend the websites http://hol.kag.org To practice, I recommend: Joining the KIDC forums: http://www.klingon.org/smboard Joining the Klingon Language Institute's mailing list: http://www.kli.org/tlhIngan-Hol/ Joining Twitter and using the #tlh hashtag: https://twitter.com/#!/search/realtime/%23tlh (I'm called @loghaD on Twitter, by the way) |
