Pro-Choice

Also, pro-choice is not the same as pro-abortion, which people do often seem confused about.

I'd really appreciate if all the world's pro-life people, who insist on forced birth and often giving a child up for adoption, would never have any children of their own. There are too many children suffering around the world who will never know parents, yet so many pro-life people insist that more children should be thrust into child-care services and misery.

Personally, although I am pro-choice, I plan to never have children myself. I recognize that adoption is the only option that actually helps a child that already exists.

Are you against killing any innocent life?
yes

Should there be laws to protect innocent life?
Yes. Especially if that life can not protect itself. In that case it is our moral duty to protect it.

should people be given the right to choose to kill an innocent life for any reason?
No. That is what laws are for. To protect the innocent from harm from others. Especially to protect those innocent lives who can not protect themselves.

-------
in the situation where the mothers life is in danger there are medical alternatives to abortion. It is never acceptable to do evil so that good will result. The end does not justify the means.

For instance, in the case where the baby gets stuck in the tube. This is life threatening to both mother and child. However the tube can be surgically removed. This does not harm the child. The baby will not usually survive detached from the mother and will die of natural causes. The baby would have died trapped in the tube. So it is a case of removing the tube so the mother will survive. This method does not require killing the child and yet saves the mother. And every thing can be done to save the child that is medically possible.

For cases where a child is unwanted adoption is the preffered alternative.

Also natural child birth is statistically safer than abortion and has fewer long term complications, both physical and mental.

The end does not justify the means. There are alternatives to abortion.
