Steve Blum posted on facebook that he was working with CN and [as]. That's why the voices are the same. Adult Swim also hinted at it a little before Toonami aired.

Before the lineup, TOM said "the tests are back. I have April Fools"(as if it were a disease). This implys that it will only be for tonight.

I'm staying up to enjoy the joke and be with the fans when the riot afterwards.

Rumor- the "joke" isn't a one-night showing of Toonami, but tricking fans into THINKING it'll only be one night. This is JUST A RUMOR and has no proof as of yet. Staying tuned to find out.

Popular Idea- due to the massive ratings, Facebook "talking about now"s, and Twitter trending, the idea that CN will decide to bring back Toonami permanently has been floating around. This seems to be hopeful thinking with a plausable base. No confirmation has been announced.

Popular Idea- "if this is a joke I'll riot/never watch CN again/send nasty letters" etc. You can expect many petetions, spammers, trolls, and other angry fans to flood again (as they did in 2008 after Toonami's cancilation) all over the Internet.

Rumor- Toonami is staying because of TOM's mention of "next week". Plausable, not denied or confirmed.
