What is a good name for this decade?

"The pretender decade" or "Pretend it's all OK decade"...or "I'm no longer real" decade..why...because this is the decade where technological influence pervades every aspect of life...legitimate real human contact disappears ever so quick....less and less are real face to face conversations...everyone stimulated by their unpersonal,numb,desensitized twittering,texting,etc...ever get on a bus lately...no one looks at each other anymore...everyone is staring and pushing little buttons on some device or zoned out to some headset music. And making "music" is just touching a button.There are no(fewer) real organic connections anymore. The govt. has full control..to induce fear,trends,crisis,etc...the media herds the cattle(what you need,what you buy,govt. feeds).Alot of people no longer pass other people with a friendly hello, we're all so different (not really but we pretend).We repetitively enter wars that are initially substantiated yet always seem to drag into some long profiteering ploy at the sacrifice of the innocent. Most people are too detached from the real issues....mind control,poverty,greed,corruption,no reaction to global warming,energy crisis,no stop to wars....psychological fraying...minds are so diverse now...too diverse...everyone on a different page and the stupid duped never knowing their shortcomings.Why is it when I was young you could leave your doors to your house unlocked,your cars,..you could let your kids go places by themselves, play outside all day and night....and the next generation doesn't feel the difference,doesn't know how nice that was...the social mire of america and the stimulations that stir it are not in the average mass populaces control anymore. We so need morals and values and class and integrity and a neighborly spirit again.Well I ranted a bit here...I would really just like to see the world become more stable and real and less dellusional. Major man made catastrophe seems just around the corner.Either that or billions of robots not knowing they're being controlled. I don't see a good name for 2000 to 2010..there wasn't much progress and far less happiness than previous decades until perhaps the depression in the 30's...even then though people took care of each other much better. Less rude.
