Obviously Miley, and unlike Selena, she has really grown up and matured, it's amazing how time flys in the last six years lol.
Have you seen her twitter? She may not have as many followers as Selena, but her twitter is actually interesting and inspiring to read and she is very accepting of others.
Sure, she caused some controversy, but honestly most of the things she did weren't that big of a deal, yet no one commented on Selena's more recent edgy wardrobe, but made a huge fuss over her.
Miley was the pop princess of Disney, she was Hannah Montana and millions of girls idolized her - she was the true star of disney, back then no one even knew selena.
That's why she got so much backlash, because her fans wanted her to always be the same sweet country star they grew up with and loved.
What's more? She can actually sing, whereas Selena is terrible, have you heard her live? There's so much auto tune, plus none of her songs are special or have any good meaning - she doesn't even write them.
Miley isn't afraid to speak her mind and be who she really is, I admire her for that.
Selena didn't even get super famous until she started dating Justin Bieber, it's true, she was just another disney star like demi and the others.
Notice how her career really only sky rocketed in late 2010, while Miley was a superstar to so a far larger fan base in 2007. I swear, I still have this old hannah montana bag from 5 years ago, and used to be in stores everywhere!
Selena kind of piggy backed Miley's fame after her show ended and she left Disney, so Selena was really the only star of disney at the time especially with what demi was dealing with, so she basically had less than two years of being the "new" disney princess until she moved on to different things.
Its hard to understand why people would buy Selena's music, but they do. Justin helped her a lot, otherwise she won't even be half as famous.
It's just a matter of timing, when Miley decided to take a break for a while, Selena started gaining popularity and was lucky enough to become the hottest celebrities and trends.
But it will die down soon, I mean, look, she's getting crappy film roles like Spring Breakers, which is obviously going to flop.
At the end of the day, Miley was famous before Selena, and will always be more famous than her.
I don't understand why Mileys former fans hated on her for her choices, if they were true fans they'd support her.
And selena may have been the good girl, but there are so manyy more people more talented than her.
I used to be a huge fan of Miley as a kid, then I didn't like her for a while and forgot about her, but now I admire her as a person, and I hope she makes some new music or stars in a tv show like Pretty Little Liars or a new movie soon.
Selena I could care less about.
