NO, THE MEDIA HAS NO CONTROL OVER ME. I AM IMPERVIOUS TO MEDIA CONTROL. I WEAR A HEADBAND BECAUSE MY TASTES AND OPINIONS DERIVE FROM THE UNIVERSE, NOT FROM THE MEDIA.

I do not think media or anyone controls our views. In some instances actions are controlled by hysteria and demagogues. Perhaps media, books, people and religion "influence" views of the masses. However, it is up to any one to control that which they choose to believe, not believe or act upon. I know what you mean though. Some of us do not think for ourselves and accept media as the spoken word on all subjects.

The media cannot control anyones views unless they let them. People need to keep an open mind and weight up information from all sources, plus a good does of common sense.

Are you aware conspiracy theories are ridiculous? Bush wasn't behind 9/11 and no, jews don't have an agenda to brainwash everyone through news and hollywood.

Some of it is true, but not exactly like that. They just create the content that is attractive to the viewers and then this becomes a style of the decade. Of course Datsun was popular in '60s, that was the style. Today Ford Mustang rules and Porsche. I'm gonna drive Porsche later in NFS Undercover (racing game). It's what appeals to the public and that's what they will create.

Although they are somehow influencing what to buy. It's called perceived obsolescence. They tell you some thing is too old for you and you need to buy a new thing. I heard about this from the woman on the website The Story Of Stuff.

But of course masses always follow the popular stuff. That's how human mind works and capitalists will cash on it. It's good! Don't let money go to waste. I love stocks. Praise Capitalism!
