Can friends see your Twitter statuses if you delete them?

If you post a status on Twitter, delete it before you assume anyone could see it (you don't want it there anymore), can friends/followers still see it when they log in, or does the status disappear from their feed at the demand of deletion?
Probably an obvious question, but I'm not sure that if you delete it, it disappears from your view only or everyone's?

when you delete it, it is deleted from everyone's feed,
so don't worry, they won't see it.

they wont see it unless they use twitter on their phone (through text) but other than that, no.
