how does libertarianism differ from conservatism?
all ive heard about libertarian believes on free market economy leads me to think it is conservative?

Libertarians are more socially liberal, believing in state's rights to decide social issues and conservatives are generally not as flexible.

most libertarians do have a Conservative economic outlook, but where they differ from the Conservative Republicans is that they believe in freedom of social issues ,
laslo.kovacs i guess the 1000 years of PRE conquered Ireland and 300 years in Iceland don't count or you just fail to recognize success |

Libertarians believe in social and economic freedom whereas conservatives are for economic freedom but believe the government should legislate on social issues. Liberals are the flip flop of conservatives.
