Is it weird that i find social networking sites pointless?

Most people are always surprised by the fact that I don't have a facebook or twitter account. Am i the only one that absolutely hates facebook?

No, you're not weird for thinking that. Personally I think they're a waste of time and that they are analogous to black holes - they suck people in and they can't escape.

I don't think it's weird at all. It could be of no interest to you or it could be fear of the unknown! You'll probably find an interest when someone hits on your interest instead of a generic social gathering. Gatcentric is up to 20 networks with unique subject matters. Maybe you'll get lucky there.
